A complete etymology-based hundred wordlist of Semitic updated: items 55-74

Abstract: The paper represents the third part of the author’s etymological analysis of the Swadesh wordlist for Semitic languages (the first two parts having already appeared in Vols. 3 (2010) and 5 (2011) of the same Journal). Twenty more items are discussed and assigned Proto-Semitic reconstructions, with strong additional emphasis on suggested Afrasian (Afro-Asiatic) cognates.
