Abstract: The paper represents the second part of the author’s etymological analysis of the Swadesh wordlist for Semitic languages (the first part having already appeared in Vol. 3 of the same Journal). Twenty more items are discussed and assigned Proto-Semitic reconstructions, with strong additional emphasis on suggested Afrasian cognates.
